How to Report an Issue in FixAhead

FixAhead provides an intuitive way to log and manage issues related to your assets. Follow the steps below to report a new issue within the platform.
Before you report an issue:
Ensure you are logged into your FixAhead account.
Confirm the asset you want to report an issue for has already been created in the system.
You must have the necessary permissions to report an issue (e.g., owner, admin, or designated user role).
Navigate to https://fixahead.com and sign in with your account credentials.
2. Access the Issues ModuleFrom the left-hand navigation menu, click on Issues.
3. Click "Report New Issues"Click the blue Report New Issues button located at the top right of the screen.
4. Complete the Issue Report FormAsset (required):
Use the dropdown menu to select the asset associated with the issue. For example, “Computer” or “Air Conditioner.”Description (required):
Provide a detailed explanation of the issue. Include relevant information such as what’s not functioning correctly, error messages, or when the issue began.Media (optional):
You can upload images, videos, or other files that support the issue report. Drag files into the upload area or click browse to select files from your device. Maximum file size is 10MB.
Click Submit Issue to report the problem. Once submitted, the issue will appear in the Reported section of the Issues page.
Viewing Reported IssuesTo view submitted issues:
Navigate to the Issues section.
You will see your reported issue listed under the Reported column.
The issue card will display the asset name, location, description, and the name of the person who reported it.
As the issue progresses, it may move through the following statuses:
Reported
Under Review
Assigned
Closed
Include clear and concise descriptions for quicker issue resolution.
Attach media whenever possible to provide context.
Check for existing similar reports to avoid duplicates.
